Mr. Schaufler has performed on stage throughout the country and has worked as a professional actor in theatre, commercials, and film for 20 years.   He has been blessed to work for one of LA's premier classical theatre companies A Noise Within, as well as the Stella Adler Theatre, and was a member of The Other Side Theatre in Portland, Oregon.  He has worked as a director, poet, and playwright having work produced at the Los Angeles Greenway Court Theatre and directing shows on the West Coast and in the Wisconsin area where he currently resides.  He completed his four seasons as a voice-over artist with the radio show "The Brinkman Adventures," which is a Christian audio drama series that can be heard globally.

For over decade Mr. Schaufler has been collaborating with Above the Clouds, an inner city, faith-based program, bringing the arts to disadvantaged children free of charge.   Mr. Schaufler transitioned from a working actor and drama teacher after recognizing that many of his students struggled to read.  He felt he understood the struggle the students faced, as he is also a person diagnosed with ADHD and dyslexia. Mr. Schaufler felt God calling him to change course and work with students with special needs.  He quickly worked toward gaining a certification in Special Education and began a teaching career in 2008. Currently, he works as a special education teacher, as well as a working artist.  He would like to thank God for the opportunity to collaborate with his beautiful wife, Lori (who is also a working actor, director, writer, singer, and is the head and artistic director of a college theatre department ), and the blessing of two beautiful children.

"In him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind.  The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it." - John 1:4-5

from Disability

"My disability is a gift from God

My struggles have become my strengths

My rewards so much sweeter!

I praise You for my weakness

For in my weakness You raise me up!

You have humbled me in my downfall

From the ashes you mold my soul..."
